About

Jasmine Cherry (b. 1995) is a painter living and working in coastal Maine.

With a history of portraiture drawing, Jasmine began painting in 2021 as a way to find more fluidity within the art-making process. Spending the majority of her life connected to the sea, water became an instant subject of delight, in which she discovered her more intuitive and simple style.

In addition to her large oceanscapes, she maintains her two passion projects of opposing scale: Impossibly Tiny and Butternut & Loaf - both of which are a celebration of life’s small wonders.

In 2022, Jasmine opened an online shop for her creations, which are now collected internationally and displayed in local shows. She continues to work from her studio in Maine, where she also enjoys surfing, gardening, & spending time immersed in the natural world.
